Val Gardena is located in the most awe-inspiring part of the Italian Alps, the spectacular Dolomites, now a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. An outstanding ski and snowboarding destination it's also located in the heart of Europe's largest interconnected skiing area, the Dolomiti Superski. Val Gardena has not only made history with its winter sports champions, it still hosts the world's elite every year during events such as the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup and the Südtirol Gardenissima, the world's longest Giant Slalom race.

Val Gardena is actually made up of three unique ski towns conveniently located within 8 kilometres of each other: Ortisei, St Cristina and Selva Gardena. They all offer stunning scenery, a wide variety of arts and culture, as well as a fantastic range of outdoor activities in both summer and winter.
