By plane
The nearest airports are Bolzano, Verona, Milan (all Italy), Innsbruck (Austria) and Munich (Germany). Bolzano airport offers daily flights to Munich and Rome.

By car
Val Gardena can be reached using the Brenner motorway (A22). Coming from the south, follow the Verona– Trento – Bolzano direction all the way to Chiusa. If you come from the north, the route is Innsbruck – Brenner – Chiusa ("Chiusa-Val Gardena" exit). Follow the road signs, you should reach Ortisei in about 20 minutes, then S. Cristina and Selva Gardena. The valley end and the Dolomites passes are only a few minutes driveaway. You do not need a car to get around in Val Gardena. During the whole tourist season, a very convenient bus service covers the valley and from each resort a number of lift systems will take you directly to high altitude locations. Indeed, many guests prefer to reach ValGardena
by train, coach or plane.

By train
Val Gardena is connected to the rest of Italy as well as Northern Europe by Intercity and Eurocity trains. They all stop in Bolzano or Bressanone and some of them also in Chiusa. For more information on timetables and connections please visit the www.trenitalia.com website.

By coach
There is a regular coach service to Val Gardena from Bolzano, Bressanone and Chiusa (timetables to be found on the www.sii.bz.it website). Some hotels will arrange a pick up service from and to the station. A transfer service runs every Saturday from Munich (airport and Hauptbanhof railway station) to Val Gardena.
